Maybe, with the symbols changing order each time you have a go so that it seems otherwise?
Okay, that’s weird. If I just pick a number, it doesn’t match that symbol. If I do the “math”, it hits it 100% of the time.
It seems that any number minus the sum of the digits equals a multiple of 9. All of the multiples of 9 have the same symbol. Not quite sure how to express that as a formula.

It’s a sham. The crystal ball should always show the “circle with horns” symbol, since the only valid numbers in the table are multiples of 9.
Given the rules, how would you get 66?
(10x+y)-(x+y)=z
9x=z
the math equation is always zero or a multiple of 9 - the symbols change every time that the same set is on the multiple of 9 - very cool though

That is pretty easy, really.
Let’s call X the 1st digit and Y the 2nd one. The number is written XY and its value is 10X+Y. If you substract (X+Y) you are left with 9X. Notice that all multiple of 9 (9X with X taking the values 0;1;2;3…9) all have the same symbol, the one that get’s displayed in the end…
If you want a shortcut, make X=0 and observe that the final symbol is the same as the one for the number Zero (0= 9*X with X=0)
