Just watched the late night replay of the Czech vs Holland on the Euro Cup. The underdog Czech’s pull it off 3-2 and advance into the quarter finals. Best came of the Euro Cup so far IMO.
Normally I root for Wales since it’s the land of my mother’s birth, but they didn’t qualify this year. I was hoping for England but leaning towards Germany or Italy as the most likely winners, but now have to support the long shot Czech’s.
Would love to see them pull it off, but it is still a long shot.

What an amazing game. I only wish the ref didn’t send off the Dutch player so maybe the game would end up in a draw!

If you check the other thread, I alluded to the Czechs as being a team to watch. Other than maybe Zidane, Pavel Nedved is the best midfielder/playmaker in football. Solid team, no egos, creative midfield, I think they make the finals. Against whom? I don’t know, no other team has stood out. Portugal v Spain will tell alot, I think.
