i didn’t think that Katrina hit El Paso…
I already have 1 triathlete sleeping here since her AC is out. You might as well come over, too. I have an air mattress.
going to talk to Paulo to make sure you pay for your smartass answer!
#1 Fuse
#2 drain hose from AC from furnace (presuming central air)
#3 Fuse
is the unit outside spinning its fan, and then also the unit inside? If either is not working you will get no AC.
Where have you been? You haven’t been on ST for much. Were you in Tulsa again?
Check the yellow pages under; “Air Conditioning Repair”
.
Check also to see if the inside of the unit is frozen…could be a leak. Have had this problem before. Are you getting any flow at all?
the AC is running but it’s not cooling down at all.
and no I am not in tulsa
If both the indoor and outdoor fans are running then it sounds like you have a refrigerant leak. Call the AC man.
PPffttthh. Suck it up and do what most people w/o AC do: have a cold shower then walk around the house/back yard/etc. naked for a while. Repeat as necessary.
Create your own ‘Microclimate’: When I was in the Phillipines, my girlfriend and I used to wear wet t-shirts to bed. Just get an old t-shirt, soak it in cold water under your faucet…don’t ring it out too much…put the t-shirt on, turn on your fan, lay down and go to sleep. Repeat as needed. If you don’t have a fan, you are SOL
should I post a picture?
LOL, I’m sure there will be some takers… Hubby already thinks I check out too much pron on the net as is… Mwahahaha!
maybe we can exchange urls…pm me
LOL
.
I dunno the stuff I look at is pretty bad…
Well my friend, could be many things
First thing is to check the filter and make sure it is not dirty
Could also be clogged evaporator coils or clogged condenser coils, you will have to clean the coils with an old toothbrush if this is the case (use SAC’s toothbrush)
If that is not the problem, could be a bad fan motor, bad compressor - call a professional
Good luck … when Francois bakes in the Texas sun is it “French Fried”?
(I know - that was lame)

or a "french dip "
there are definitely too many smartasses on this forum now
.
Any luck or did you have to call in the pros?
When you say the AC is running, are you only referring to the unit inside, or do you mean both the inside unit and the compressor outside?
Work with me here. I might be able to help.
