Talk about your career moves: saw an AP report that David Lee Roth, Van Halen’s original frontman and now 50 years old, is currently training to be a Paramedic in New York City. He says no one recognizes him, and he’s very happy about that. He’s gotten praise from his supervisors for his dedication to helping people.
Good for him.
Some view this as another chance to get press. I view this as self-preservation. He knows what kind of life he has lived. He knows the odds. (but shouldn’t someone tell him that he won’t be able to perform CPR on himself?)
