Anyway to get IE to use yahoo as my default email? This might be a dumb question, but everytime I click an email link outlook starts and I prefer my yahoo account.

Open Internet Explorer. Click the “Tools” menu at the top of the browser. Select “Internet Options” from the Tools menu. Click the “Programs” tab. In the Email box, select the email program you wish to use. Click the “OK” button.
Unfortunately Yahoo will most likely not be listed as an option under that drop-down bar. In which case I would say you are totally screwed. You can probably set up outlook to operate your yahoo account. that way you can use some of the othe features outlook offers while still having your yahoo account.
You can’t get Outlook to use Yahoo or Yahoo to use outlook. They are 2 different email programs that i don’t think that will work together.
You may be able to use hotmail this way since it’s a microsoft email program.
You CAN POP3 Mail from Yahoo if you pay the $20.00 for the account…
