I’ve got the Vespa ET2 and it looks cool. One of the coolest in fact. Far to bloody heavy though, especially when trying to put it on the main stand. No good for the GF because she can only use the secondary stand and wouldn’t be able to pick it up if it fell over. I would recomend you look at something else (unless you want to buy mine).
Cheap, cheap, cheap to run.
Have you considered cycling or running as your commute instead? I walk to work each day because I only live 2km from the office.
Yep, they’re brilliant. I had one back in Dublin a few years ago. 50cc engine good for 95kmh. Perfect for in around town and they leave most cars for dead at the lights. Cheap to buy & cheaper to run.
rode honda ruckus scooter that belonged to roomate 2 years ago. living in center city philadelphia this was my favorite all time transport. fun fun fun. low insurance and always easy to park. roomate gone, think i miss the scooter more than roomate.
I bought my wife the Aprilia Scarabeo 50 last year. It is absolutely a hoot to ride. Cool thing about the Aprilia is the larger wheel size. Better handling than the Vespa or Honda that we tried. For around town the 50cc is plenty fast - tops out at about 45-50 mph. Good Luck
