I watched their reunion special on PBS. That is one amazing family of performers. What a great show. Perfect harmonies. I mean I am a rocker, come of age in the 70’s, the finest era of music ever but you have to appreciate the Osmond’s. Saw them once live at the Concord Pavilion in about 1987. One of the best live shows ever.
They seem to keep a healthy tongue-in-cheek attitude about their teen hearthrob songs but the four orginal brothers are seriously good with their barbershop/gospel quartet music.
Me too and Sony & Cher and the Mandrell Sisters. They never let the “pretty” Mandrell sister, the one that played the drums, sing. I think the talent gene skipped her.
Having been raised a Mormon and seeing more Osmond family then your average person I have to say I want to see Donny strangled by his own goddamn purple socks and his family burned alive in their tour bus. Donny and Mary’s creepy inset love affair on the stages of America made me what I am today. A twisted possibly psychotic 70s survivor.

Thats it let it out tell us how you feel.
My wife wrested the remote from me and made me watch it. I always liked the Osmonds so it wasn’t so bad. Better than watching Lawrence Welk …A one and a two…
