Well, I just loaded it on the MacBook Air and on the iMac. Not sure I notice much difference, except the style. The logos/icons are … I dunno … “vibrant?” The text for the logos/icons looks “retro.” I have to admit, a couple programs, like Firefox, seem to run faster.
I have had one issue the driver that I use to download from my PCV doesn’t work, there is one out there that you can pay for but I am waiting for the free to get updated. In the meantime I am just using an old computer to download. Other than that everything has been smooth. I really like the handoff and being able to send text messages from the Messages app.
Just installed yesterday and it seems fine. I usually wait about a week but this update seems well tested. No odd issues so far but I use pretty mainstream stuff. I’ve heard there are some hiccups with Golden Cheetah that are being worked through.
I have not experienced this issue at all. I always find it interesting that whenever Apple does some kind of upgrade we get bombarded with stories about problems with it. I have never had a single glitch in any Apple product (with the exception of OS 7) that wasn’t easily resolved (and always something I did to cause it).

I think these glitches are wildly overblown.
Or you don’t work somewhere were they are widely used by 100s of students or in a lab situation…There are lots of issues with them. All the time.

There are some legitimate issues sometimes, but they are generally overblown, like Bendgate.

On that note, because I found it very funny and I otherwise have nothing to contribute to a conversation about tech, has anyone seen this video by Conan on “Bendgate”?
Anyone have issues with Adobe Air and Trainer Road since upgrading to Yosemite? Trainer Road Workout Creator won’t work any more on my Mac since I upgraded to OS X Yosemite. Even after uninstalling and re-installing Adobe Air, and after uninstalling and re-installing Trainer Road, I get a message that Workout Creator can’t open because of an Adobe Air error. I’ve emailed Trainer Road support twice … no response in over 2 days.

I’ve worked at a museum digitizing the collection and managed an image processing dept. at a stock photo agency. I have processed hundreds of thousands of images on several dozen different computers (including both Mac and PCs). I’ve never had an issue with any Mac that wasn’t the fault of the user. All Mac issues I’ve had were easily diagnosed and fixed in house, by me or one of my employees, none of whom are IT people.

Is this Wifi issue happening to you?
I haven’t had the pleasure of working with Yosemite yet. It is happening on my campus though.
IT told us hold tight due to bugs and our system. I presume no bugs yet?
District where I teach wanted to stay with Mavericks. Upped one of the systems to Yosemite; lost access to secure servers. Won’t find out til Monday if the secure server access can be remedied.
