The local bike shop that I frequent (Southlake Bicycles in Minneola/Clermont Florida…so Orlando-ish area) is now taking in used bicycles of all levels (started today literally). I often visited a shop in Seattle like this (Recycled Cycles) that had some great deals and really cool bikes. They’ll use Bicycle Blue Book and local values and consign your bike for you, though the future will say they’ll just outright buy the bikes to sell. I guess just remember that in order for them to make a profit, you’ll be needing to part with your bike cheaper than it’s worth, right? Anyway, thought it was cool to have something like this in Florida.
