Oregon race calendar(s)?

I’m looking for a race calendar that would show the various races in Oregon, specifically: tris, dus, running races, bike centuries, mountain bike races, or adventure races.

So far I’ve found a few races through trifind.net (but I’ll bet it’s incomplete) and OBRA (which seems to be about bike racing rather than century rides).

Where else do I look?
Thanks.

this may be what you are looking for:

Oleander, below you will find a few helpful links and the first two are local triathlon clubs in the Portland area. When are you planning to visit? ERIK

Thanks!

I visit Central Oregon often (have family there). One time I’ll be up there for sure is during the last weekend of August 2007. I’m the ‘first alternate’ on a team to do the Hood to Coast Relay on Aug 24-25. I’m looking for events to do on the weekend of Aug 18-19, and also on Aug 25-26 in case I don’t get to do Hood to Coast.

But, still looking for year-round calendars as well, as I usually visit more than once per year.

Oleander

As far as tri’s go, mid-late August is actually pretty sparse, probably because of Hood to Coast. Check the results section of racecenter.com and you’ll see what I mean.

try the following:

  1. www.obra.org for bike races, time trials, and MTB events
  2. www.halffastvelo.com for some training alternatives
  3. www.ironheads.org (soon to be updated with regional race calendar)

You can also Email Greg Pressler. He’s the editor at CitySportsNW (the magazine owned by Competitor). Greg will know EVERY event in the region.

Cheers,
Puskas

Hi Oleander,

Watch for the TriAmerica National Series Tour to visit Oregon the weekend of July 21-22. We’ll be in Cottage Grove just south of Eugene. The featured race will be 2K/60K/15K with a short course and super sprint triathlon also taking place.

More info will be available later this month at TriAmerica.com.
