Open water swimming in Aruba

I can’t find out information for the life of me on facebook. I think I am somehow banned on FB lol. I have asked about open water swimming in several Aruba vacation groups and an open water swim group and all my posts are pending.

So here goes: We will be in Aruba next week and are walking distance to Eagle Beach. I know people open water swim at Eagle beach in the mornings. My question is this: Is it safe to swim in the afternoon? Or are there small boats and jet skis coming in and out? I always wear a bright orange safety buoy. And usually swim close to the beach when I do open water swim during a vacation. Anyone open water swim at Eagle Beach or have intel on other places to OWS in Aruba? Thanks in advance. Even an AI search didn’t help me. (it assumes I’m just floating around in the water like most tourists)
