Does anyone know if/where you can listen to Phil and Paul live on the net? I have no TV, and thus, no cable, and I would really like to get the coverage some way. Thanks.
I’m in the same boat. With no access to TV, how can I get tour coverage (other than live updates on something like eurosport or paceline).
My understanding was that OLN would provide streaming video feed for a small fee, but would include no audio commentary…
Anyone know anything about this?
The last few years, the tour website ran streaming audio of Phil and Paul live, no charge.

Last year I was able to even watch it on a 2x2 window streaming from somewhere. Nice to keep my finger on the pulse at work… I’ll try to find a site again this year with audio and somewhat compromised video… If I do, I’ll post the link.
please do!
Well, you can listen to one Phil (Phil White from Cervelo that is) by going to our media center. Not live coverage, but behind the scenes audio, video and photos throughout the Tour. Check it out here: http://www.cervelo.com/mediacentre.aspx
TV2 Denmark offers high quality Tour de France live video streaming for 159 DKK (~26 $) for the whole Tour at their webcasitng site http://sputnik.dk:
http://betaling.sputnik.dk/product/information/?productKey=sputniktour2005&productKey0=sputniktour2005&cancelurl=http%3A%2F%2Ftv.sputnik.dk%2F&returnurl=http%3A%2F%2Ftv.sputnik.dk%2F&steps=5
They accept both Visa and Mastercard.
Requires minimum a 512 kbps downstream connection; 2 Mbps is recommended for optimal streaming. Only works in Microsoft Internet Explorer. The website uses “Sure Stream” to adjust the quality to your internet speed.
They also offers Pulp Fiction free of charge.
eurosport.com will probably have some free feeds.
will the podcasts continue this year?
Yes, there will be a blog, audio, video and still photos. All of these will be sent out through the podcast, or alternatively you can get e-mail alerts. We had a little snag in that Phil’s luggage got lost which included his phone charger, so he has been conserving battery power. But by tomorrow we should be fully up and running. Again, more information at www.cervelo.com/mediacentre.aspx.
How do I set up the Cervélo Tour Media Center podcasts? To begin accessing Cervélo podcasts you’ll need a computer, internet access and a media player that supports the mp3 file format, for example, iTunes. Download a free podcasting client. There are a number of choices:
http://ipodder.sourceforge.net
http://ipodderx.com/ (Mac only)
http://www.dopplerradio.net/
http://www.nimiq.nl/ In your podcasting client, click the option to add a new feed. When it asks for the address of the new feed to be added, paste this URL into the client: http://www.cervelo.com/cervelorss.xml. In your podcasting client, check for podcast updates and the Cervélo podcast will soon be on its way to your computer. Now you can watch or listen to the Cervelo Tour Media Center updates. If you have an MP3 player, you can also use that to listen to the updates by connecting it to your computer. The new Cervélo podcast will automatically be transferred to your player.
The newly released version 4.9 of iTunes now supports podcasting: http://www.apple.com/podcasting
So do you still need to download a free podcasting client as described in step 2 at your website if you use iTunes v4.9?
thanks for the link
