One Trillion

So how much is that ?

  1. 1 Million seconds = 11.5 days. 1 Billion seconds = 32 years. 1 Trillion seconds = 32,000 years.

  2. 1 Trillion dollar bills stacked flat on top of one another will reach 68,000 miles into the sky. Thats almost 1/3 the distance to the moon.

  3. If one spent 1 Million dollar a day since the birth of Jesus you still would not have spent 1 Trillion dollars and would have $250 Billion left over.

  4. 1 Trillion dollar bills stacked end to end would reach to the moon and back - over 200 times!

  5. 1 Trillion dollars would wrap around the earth 39 times - and thats using $100 dollar bills!

  6. On a clear night a person can see about 2,000 stars. 1 Trillion dollars could buy all of those stars if each one costs $500 Million each.

  7. 1 Trillion dollars stacked end to end would stretch 94 Million miles into space and make it past the sun.

  8. 1 Trillion dollars stitched into a quilt would cover the entire state of Connecticut.

  9. Cosmologists estimate the entire observable universe contains around 100 Billion galaxies…1/10 of a Trillion.

  10. In the 50 year history of NASA it has spent $800 Billion dollars…$200 Billion less than 1 Trillion.

  11. A spending spree of $1 dollar per second, or $60 dollars per minute, or $3,600 per hour, or $86,400 per day would support a shopping spree for 32,000 years.

You all have a nice day

Hey! Where is your hope?

Yes, and imagine the possibilities if pedalasaurus had a trillion brain cells.

Now thats Funny

Ok, so what’s your point?

We gave away almost a trillion dollars for TARP and what do we have to show for that? Nothing. At least the stimulus bill should give us some improved bridges and roads.

Yeah, it’s a lot of money, but so is the federal budget which just to cover the last 7 months of this year will be close to half a trillion. How about the war in Iraq, current estimates put that at 3 trillion.

It would be so much nicer around here if he had just 3.
