Actually, it repeatedly refers to “bicycle” and “cycling”. I have never heard those used in relation to a motorcycle.
Of course, it is a Canadian newspaper, and we all know those crazy Canadians can never get anything right…
And if you do have trouble with reading comprehension I have the hard copy of the article in front of me with a mugshot of this dude with his goddam vented road bike helmet on. He looks like the article says he does…‘just another FIT excersice addicted guy’ (like most of us on this forum)
Ah, your link refers to a previous Hell’s Angles hit man and they ride, MOTORcyclces of the Harley Davidson persuasion. Yes, the article says “cyclist”, but that is just the Canadian lingo.
You have to see the hardcopy. Hilarious (well in a way)…they have a picture of the hitman in his styling bike helmet looking all tanned and fit and beside him are 8 mugsgots of his reputed ‘hits’ looking exactly like the image you have in your mind of the badass Hells Angel.
The stealthy killer raised few suspicions among the people of Donnacona. “He went pretty much unnoticed. He was clean-cut, had clean cars and a tidy home. He rode his bicycle a lot,” André Marcoux, the town’s Mayor, said on Thursday. “He looked like an ordinary Joe, hard to identify in a crowd as someone who would commit crimes.” (Mr. Marcoux, a former Sûreté du Québec officer, was aware of Gallant’s rumoured gang ties.)
we don’t call a motorcycle “bicycle” in canada. i’m pretty sure not even in quebec.
How much you wanna bet Doc?? Any other Canadians got a copy of today’s Post to back me up??
I can only go by the LINK you provided with a nice photo of the very tell tale Hell’s Angel Black jacket and wings. If you have MORE information (as the article says, he keeps fit and exercises, hence his likely bike helmet photo and media spin) fine (but how is anyone seeing your link to know this), but he is still a Hell’s Angel Hitman per the article.
Yeah forget about it you’re right. He doesn’t ‘ride his bike around all the time’ (a direct quote from people who live in his town) and the picture of him in his bike helmet was ‘staged’ by the photographer to put a …‘SPIN’ on it??? . Hmmm??
LOL! Dude - I don’t really care “what” you call a Hell’s Angels Hit Man who also bicycles (actually, you used “roady”).
I’ll stick with his 28 year history of being in the Hell’s Angles, not his “riding his bike all around” that his neighbors quote as this killer’s true mentality. Show me his shaved legs, Canadian cycling license and white bar tape/shoes, and I’ll concede …
Doesn’t really matter - if he turned state’s witness against the Hell’s Angels, he will/should be in witness protection soon and won’t likely be riding much …
I’m no expert in biker business, but does ‘Hell’s Angels hitman’ necessarily mean that said person is a stereotypical Hell’s Angels member? Maybe they farm out some of their important business to professionals?
Not to nit-pick, but he wasn’t a Hell’s Angel. The article said he was hired by enemies of the Hell’s Angels. And while a member of said gang might ride motorcycles, I don’t know if it is required to ride a motorcycle in order to kill them. Just sayin’.
