How many grams of fat and protein should I be eating every day? Someone else told me to eat more protein, and I actively focus on trying to eat a lot, but does that mean 60g, 100g, 200g? What is sensible for triathletes and someone of my size (5’7, 120 lbs)?

Protein requirements would vary depending on what phase of training you’re in and what your goals are. If you really want to lose BW - not sure you do at 120 lbs - you’d eat more protein than you would if you are content with your weight.
Are you training for endurance and strength right now or are you closer to competition and training for speed and power? Protein intake goes up for the second phase.
Your protein intake range is somewhere between 1.2 - 2.0 g/kg BW depending on your needs and training phase.
thanks for those tips - I appreciate the saltines and grapes - in fact one thing I have found works fairly well is frozen grapes, if you have not tried those. I saw on your blo gyou are doing Rhode Island 70.3. I am doing that as well. Good luck with your training!
