Promised my mother in law I would not get on the plane without FINALLY getting a will. Guess the plane must be getting close
since the boss and I meeting with the lawyer in less than an hour. :o(

Are you leaving the boat car to Paulo?
I might consider after he pays for my VO2max test he promised.
Dave
Lavender Room, please
.
Don’t you know everything “worlds” related belongs here. And if its H2OFun, its worlds.
Promised my mother in law I would not get on the plane without FINALLY getting a will.
Who gives a shit…?
Whew! I was worried about that.
You know, Dave… I like a lot of your posts, but you don’t have to post EVERY thought that enters your head. ![]()
“Who gives a shit…?”
So does that mean you’re not paying for a VO2 test? Can’t tell for sure but it sounds like maybe not.
This is good information, but what I really want to know is what you had for breakfast last Tuesday. Also, if you don’t mind sharing, what route are you planning to drive to the lawyer’s office?
If it isn’t yet allocated, I’ll take the silly car/boat thingy. One ‘L’ in lakercr.
I just went to Albertson’s the one off Redd road. I bought some veggies and fruits. And sponges to wash dishes. I forgot detergent though.
I just roughed up the suspect and made the bald man puke. Now i’m gonna go play Halo 2 with my sister and her husband…
the sad part about that is only the latter is true, this ironman training is draaaaiiiining.
good luck at World’s.
Wow, I made the lavender room. ST has been pretty boring, so wanted to give folks the opportunity to attack.
I was a serious input that folks should make sure they have a living will, etc. since one can get hurt in this sport.

Where exactly do you mention the words “living will” or “you might get hurt” or anything about that???
clm
Not sure what your question means?
Seems pretty obvious why one would need to have a will if doing our sport, and flying overseas to do it.
I had just put if off for way to long, and hoped my making my post, would encourage others to consider
not waiting as long as I had.
Dave
I have it all… will, living will, power of attorney, medical power of attorney, etc. I don’t have a lot of material things, actually, little of any monetary value. Doing all of this was important for two reasons. First, I provided for my two dogs (I know, some of you think I’m nuts, but they are my constant companions), both indicating who will take care of them and setting aside funds to cover any expenses related to their care. Secondly, I wanted it to be clear what my medical wishes were as my only living relative would not follow my wants on this matter.
I agree with h20 fun… this is something we all need to consider, especially those with children, which I don’t have. What we value varies for each of us, be it material goods, hard earned savings, how our life ends, etc. Take the time to do this.
I was pretty shocked when the attorney added up all the assets my wife and I have. Was a lot more money that I knew, since I do not
worry about money. Going to have to sign the papers on the way to the airport so it is legal.
We also are getting the medical power of attorney stuff, which most do not think much about until they see what happened to the mess
Terri shivao ? and husband and parents go into.
If one has any type of estate, it was amazing how much money would have been taken out in taxes, and how long probate takes w/o
the needed documents being written up. And since I do have 2 kids, sure would not have been right to have to have them deal
with all the issues, just because I was lazy and did not want to spend the money.
Now, I do need to sit down with them after we get the first pass and talk things over with them so they have a chance to express
any issues. Also, I want to make sure they have a chance to tell us what stuff they would want so we can get it put into the will.
(Sure do not want them fighting over the water car, or my trains when I am gone. )
Dave
I thought I was going to get rick-rolled again.
Okay, you got me, what is rick-rolled?
Dave
Yep, I got nailed on that one also. :o(
