Any Slowtwitchers going to Lausanne (Switzerland) this coming week-end for the European championships ?
As the only local slowtwitcher (to my knowledge), I’ll be sporting my slowtwitch apparel to watch the pros on Saturday, and race (well, that’s a strong word for my current fitness) on Sunday morning.
UKGearmuncher (Bryce) will be ober there to represent GB. IF you see anyone about 6’3" in a silver De Soto T1 say Hi as that will be him! He’s a pretty easy spot, probably won’t be too many guys that height with a flat top. Other wise you may spot him on the bike course reccy on his Kuota Kalibur.
Have agood race, but not to good if you are in his AG (30-34)!
I’m in his age-group, but he needn’t worry as I only do the popular race (out of EC). Same course though, it will be basically flat for 2kms, and then either up or down for the rest on both loops. But very nice course taking you to the heart of Lausanne.
Is it Bryce that got somehow set-up by Tom a couple of months ago ? If yes, I think I may recognize him with his Viking look.
