Older Mavic Cosmic wheels 11 Speed?

I have been reading that all Mavic wheels are 11 speed compatible due to the fact that even the older models used a spacer to accommodate 10 speed cassettes…True? Looking to buy a Cosmic wheel set and drop a SRAM 11 speed cassette on it.

Yes.

All Mavic road wheels (the oldest I’ve used is from ~2001) have a freehub body that is compatible with 11-speed. This is true with Ksyrium, Carbone, and Askium wheels that I have worked on. I can’t see it being any different for Cosmic wheels.

Won’t be a problem at all.

When in dought use one of the Shimano-to-Campy 11 sp cassettes (Wheels Manufacturing). I run one of these on an early 90s Specialized TriSpoke with no issues and that was an 8-speed Shimano wheel. The wheel is old enough to buy beer in all 50 States, so don’t worry.
