Anybody know anything 'bout this one? I saw one being ridden the other day, up by Diamond Head road in Honolulu. Looked nice. The guy said he could get me the frame for a good price.
Aren’t they German, or something?

Are these the Wheeler ti tribike frames that were being sold on Chuck’s Bikes for around $400. or so? Incredibly inexpensive.
I believe “Allan” who posts here occassionally one his AG at IMFL on one.
I’ve got one and I love it. Chucksbikes.com still has them listed on the website for 54, 58 and 60 cm frames at $285 for frame and a threaded carbon fork (I didn’t use the fork). Mine is a 56 and is painted red. I ordered the frameset last year and figured that it was such a good price for a ti frame that I’d just use it on the trainer if I didn’t like it but ended up moving all of my components onto it and it is now my main ride. The frame was supposedly designed in Germany and apparently there are more Wheelers in Europe. I don’t think that they’re making these frames anymore which is probably why it was so inexpensive. If it fits you, it is a great deal and mine will be on the pier in Kona on October 16th to give Wheeler a count of at least 1 in the annual bike survey ![]()
Mahalo, brah. I dunno where the frame is, but I’ll go over to that Chuck’s Bike website and check it out.
I did some checking, and yah…they don’t make the frame anymore (and don’t import over to the U.S., either, apparently). But, I’ve got some friends out here that build frames and whaddevah, and they said they wouldn’t have any problems working with the type of Ti that this one is built of.
