This whole Red Sox thing is just silly.
A guy at my office, who’s 28 and from New Hampshire, was just giddy about the WS victory. You know, “Waited so long… Curse… 1918… blah, blah, blah.” I made a couple remarks about the 1986 series and he responds, “I wasn’t really into baseball then, I was only a kid.”
Excuse me? It’s a bit tough to take when so many of the fans have “suffered” through 10 years. Wow. That must be miserable.

Every world series you watch is like a “Former Expos’ Prospect” game. The strike absolutely killed the expos.
