I wanted to make my Campy Chorus 10 road bike compatible with my dura ace powertap wheelset that I use on my tri bike. After reading Leonard Zinn’s article on it, I made a SRAM Force rear derailleur purchase and installed it last week-end.
Using Campy Chorus ergo shifters, SRAM force rear derailleur and Dura ace wheelset, the shifting was PERFECT. I noticed a significant improvement over the Chorus rear derailleur / chorus cassette system that I had been using.
Note: No change to the Wipperman 10s chain. Also, all I had to do was remove the old derailleur, and install/adjust the new derailleur with the old shifting cable.
This truly seems to be a viable solution to those of us with mixed components between bikes.
