Okay, Who’s going to win, what’s the score going to be and who will be the MVP?
I will send two dozen sample tubes of Aquaphor to the winner and an Aquaphor hat (the person that comes closest to all three criteria)

Steelers win ,27-10
Ben Roethlisberger is MVP
.
Steelers 35-14
Big Ben MVP
.
Steelers 28
Arizona 13
MVP Willie Parker
.
Steelers 21 - 14
Willie Parker for MVP
(BTW - I only picked the Steelers because that’s who my husband wants and I picked Willie based on stats from the Steelers website. If I win, I’m going to be so psyched!)
The winner is me because I will not waste my time watching it ![]()

now if it was the Eastern Ontario Senior Citizen Curling Championships you would be all over it right? canucks are just goofy people!
Steelers win it 17-13.
Troy Palamalu is the MVP with an INT and a huge sack or 2. The defense will account for at least 7 points. It’ll be 13-10 late in the game and Ben will manufacture a ridiculous 80-90+ yard drive and score in the last 1-2 minutes to win.
Unless Ben wakes up as a completely different qb on sunday, I doubt he’ll be the mvp-he’s not the most stat-friendly qb around. That said, I’ll be proudly wearing my #7 jersey at the party on sunday because no matter how ugly he plays, he wins games.
Mitch Berger will single handedly set up 2 of the birds’ 3 scoring drives with his amazing punting skills.
There’s already schools calling 2 hour delays on Monday after the game, and the city is basically shut down Sunday- even the Eat’N’parks, usually open 24/7 are closing at 3 or 4 to let people watch the game.
Here we go, Steelers, here we go!
Don’t listen to CaptianCanada…he can waste time watching curling or some meaningless regular season NHL game. Some of us care! I’d like to see Troy Polamalu clean up on D and take the MVP. I don’t really care who wins, I just want an exciting game and I like to see how things are packaged up from a presentation and marketing perspective.
canucks are just goofy people!
if you were exposed to the crappy, repetitive, cost-$200-filmed-in-a-parking-lot simsubbed commercials we get during the superbowl you’d likely also feel like skipping it…
Just to go against the grain, and because I live in Arizona:
Arizona 31
Pittsburgh 21
MVP: Larry Fitzgerald
.
Cards-28
Steelers-10
MVP-Edge
.
The Super Bowl has no meaning to me until the Detroit Lions are playing in it.

The Cards upset the Steelers 28 - 24.
You guys get the Thanksgiving game every freakin’ year. Now you want the Super Bowl too?
Cardinals Win - 34-29 (yes I know its football ![]()
Fitzgerald MVP -
Warner would take MVP, but he throws 2 picks.
**You guys get the Thanksgiving game every freakin’ year. Now you want the Super Bowl too? **
The short answer is, “YES!”
The longer answer is that we own the Thanksgiving game because William Clay Ford took it when nobody else wanted it. If and when Ford sells the team, we will give it up. As for the Superbowl, I don’t want it given to the Lions. I want them to earn it!

AZ 28-24 Warner MVP
It could happen.
My thinking is similar to yours. I foresee a lowish scoring game with both teams being very careful with the ball, and the defenses causing havok on the O (or the O settling for punts versus forcing something that could likely end up in a turnover).
I think the MVP comes from Troy P (depending on how much he is used as a blitzer) or Harrison getting a sack or two off the end, lots of pressure, and possibly causing a fumble (or two).
If the cards win, it’ll likey be due to Fitzgerald making some unbelievable plays in tight coverage. One could say that Pitt is going to be all over him all game, but if Warner throws the ball where “only Larry can get it”, there’s only so much a d can do.
I see Big Ben having a high comp % but not very many yards type game (something like 18-25, 190 yards), and I see Warner having a lot more attempts and yards, but lower comp % and not many TDs (22-35, 280 yards). In short, they’ll move the ball at times, but settle for FGs. Pitt will also settle for FGs, but it will more acceptable because they’ll win the field position game. I could see something like ARZ scoring a TD early, but being held to FGs from that point on.
I’ll say:
Pitt 23 (2TD, 3FG)
ARZ 13 (1TD, 2FG)
MVP: Harrison - 2 sacks, 1 FF – I could see Harrison getting a sack and forcing a fumble inside the 20-25, that leads to an easy pitt score, and being the turning point in a hard fought game.
San Diego 35, Oakland 3
Billy Freakin’ Volek is the MVP
Yeah it’s fantasy but what the heck - neither of the SB teams interest me.
