This bill is ridiculus…lets see we are going to let you deduct the sales tax on new vehicles - a depreciating asset. But, we don’t want to increase the buying and selling of homes - a appreciating asset.
At the end of the day, I not really for micro tax cuts on “specific” items, but if you are going to do it why not do where we can get the biggest bang for the buck. Why do you pick the car deduction over the house credit?
I agree. If we really need to spend $500 Billion or so. Lets build Nuclear Power Plants and take care of future energy issues. What is the cost of one plant say 20 billion, we could build 25 of em.
