Official Lineup IMFL 2007

I’m in. Training starts tomorrow. I’m praying for the same cold weather as this year.

Got right in on-site. Going back for #4.

I will *not be *praying for the same weather. This is Florida, give me HEAT!

I think you can wait a little! One year of training for one race? A recipe for burnout!

I’d disagree. If you follow a smart program and don’t fixate on IMFL for the whole year, then right now would be used for a focus on something (weakest link in your racing scheme), then you can do an early season build for a HIM or two or some Oly’s like nationals, rest a bit then that would leave you with about 16wks or so to focus on IMFL includinng taper.

I’m in - first IM… uh oh, what did I do?

Guess I better find some lodging quick…

I’m in!!!

I’m in.

Count me in also.

I am in! Now I must move to the upper slopes of Mauna Kea for 1 year of altitude training

Aloha,
Matt

Unless I’m mistaken, I don’t think there will be any problems finding lodging. When I did the race a few years ago there were tons of places with rooms. I’ll bet you could just show up during race week and easily find a place. Can anyone confirm this?

The Boardwalk Beach Hotel will be revamped, all new and be THE PLACE to stay (yeah, right!)
.

I’m in #4 for me also.

In. #1 for me.

Pressing that Submit button for your first comes with a lot of trepidation, doesn’t it?

Good job, you won’t regret it.

tons of lodging, get about 6 people together and rent a house on the beach, best way to go!

I’m in for my first IM!!

About 15 minutes before registration opened, I almost backed out.

When I signed up for the 2007 Boston Marathon, I was excited.

But after signing up for the 2007 IMFL, I’m very nervous.

I’m in…just trying to find a house/condo now (I gotta get a good one with 3 bambinos coming along too!)

“I’ll bet you could just show up during race week and easily find a place.”

Pretty much. There is TONS of lodging – besides the Boardwalk, I didn’t hear of any other place that was FULL. I actually waited until the Monday of race week to book my condo at the Majestic. There were several condos I was looking at that still had availability, so I wasn’t worried about being shut out. But, of course, as you get closer to the date of your stay – the prices go down (at least, if you book with individual condo owners). They tend to knock some $$'s off for last-minute bookings. Good luck!

I’m in along with a few other from the Texas A&M team. It’ll be #2 for me.

If it’s any consolation, I’ve hurt worse in the three marathons I’ve run than last year’s IMFL (where I had a crappy run, anyway.)
