The awesome Parlee TTiR “invented” the fairings back in 2017; there hasn’t been any mention of those being “illegal”.
Does anyone know what size bolts these are? Got a 2nd hand Timemachine and theyre threaded on both sides. Ideally i would like replacements before i drill them out.

This looks like V cockpit bridge bolts: BMC TM01 V-Cockpit Bridge Black – BMC Switzerland. I have a flat cockpit so I don’t have this part. But it looks like the cockpit bolt kit bolts are similar: BMC TM01 V / Flat Cockpit Bolt Kit Black – BMC Switzerland and I think I can measure them if needed.
Yes it is a V cockpit. If you could please measure them it would be much appreciated.

The bike is in good condition but the previous owner has chewed a few of the bolts.
I had the same issue with those bolts on mine. I’m extra cautious with mine since then😁

I have the V Cockpit installed on my 2020 TM 01 Disc and I am thinking about replacing it.
Do you know if it is possible to install other bars, besides the official BMC flat cockpit, which is super expensive? Many thanks in advance.
the only bar to install is the BMC Flat bar made for those Timemachine years. There is a Flat Base Bar Adaptor that is included with the cockpit that has a unique bolt pattern to the bar. I don’t know anyone who makes a Flat Base Bar for that bike.

does anyone with a time machine use the garmin varia radar light? I’d be curious how you mounted it. I have a BTS mount and with the box under theres no room under the saddle…
when I had mine I drilled a hole and screwed it in with double sided tape to prevent it from moving

I’m looking for the front seatpost clamp on a BMC TM02 (2017). I cannot find it anywhere online, since the original company producing them went out of business. Any ideas?
does anyone know where i can get some spacers to raise / lower the height of the extensons. i only have 40mm and i want less!
I would check with your local tri shop and see if they know of anyone 3d printing them. That’s the route I had to go to get more spacers
what sizes you looking for, I have a bunch of Aeria Spacers 5 and 10mm for sure, have to check if there’s any 20mm

I have to travel with my 2020 BMC Timemachine Disc One this weekend for IM Hamburg. I will need to partially disassemble the V Cockpit to fit the bike in the travel case. I’ve never done it before, and I am looking for experience from other people.
Any tips/hints on how to do it easily?
Just unscrew the three bolts on each side of the cockpit? Are the brake cables long enough or will it be tight?
I’ve found and old official BMC video for the rim brake Timemachine on youtube. It doesn’t help that much though, as they just disconnect the Di2 cables from the box and the brake cables from the brake booster, which doesn’t exist on the disc brake version.
