I googled lcb sponsors and found her partners page which lists Maurten, a notoriously low-sodium supplement that often leaves athletes at least mildly hyponatremic if used in isolation.

I may give a more honest peek into the story in a bit because things like this always affect consumer behavior, but just thought I’d share how I approach ‘looking into’ things like this story.

Wait. I assumed you meant hypernatremia (too much sodium). I’m seeing online discussions of hyponatremia. (that’s the far more common case, and expected with maurten usage lol)

Maybe someone can clarify what happened though and point me to what she’s actually saying about it, I’m seeing a lot of noise and mixed reports.
