It is looking pretty good for Sat, morning clouds, clearing by mid morning. The water has been around a balmy 60.

Any predicitions on wave height that day of the Ralph’s Half?
the swim is in the harbor. Wave height is irrelevent. Worry more about ingesting too much diesel on the swim out.
there is a 4 to 6 swell today, decreasing. The swim is in the harbor, wo you would only feel anythina at the 1/2 turn, truly not a factor. If you want to swim in the ocean before the start it should be very doable, it was great this morning. high tide is around 8:30 on Sat

sorry just had to go there… I used to live in San Diego for 13 years and was very very aware and pissed off at the pollution runoff allowed to go into the ocean near shore. And I have a very sick sense of humor sometimes…LOL
