OC Tri Club dinner and silent auction for CAF August 15 - worthy cause plug

On Wednesday, August 15, 2007, the Orange County Triathlon Club will be hosting its 8th Annual Silent Auction to benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF). The OC Tri Club would like to invite you to attend this event to support this worthy cause. The Club donates the funds raised at this Auction to CAF for their annual major fundraiser, The San Diego Triathlon Challenge.

When: Wednesday, August 15 (club meeting night) 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Where: Hotel Huntington Beach, 7667 Center Drive --at the Beach Blvd exit off the 405 Fwy

I drove up from San Diego to speak to this group last month. I was impressed by how everyone I met was extremely motivated to support CAF (vs just a few people in a committee etc). The club is full of enthusiastic, motivated, fit, friendly athletes of all abilities, ages, etc. If you are able, I strongly recommend attending and/or contributing to this event! It will be a good time for a good cause!
