Hey, I’m looking at a job in Oberlin, Ohio and would like to solicit people’s thoughts on the area.

Also are there good Bike, Tri, and Running stores in the area?

Have you been there yet? Not much near there, kind of a rural area.

I haven’t been yet, but am interviewing this weekend.

It may be kind of rural, but I grew up in the middle of Nebraska, which is completely rural. So we will see.

Yes it is a little west of Cleveland - but not too far and the Cleveland Tri Scene is really emerging strongly.

Great areas in Oberlin for long rides with little traffic!

That’s what I was hoping to hear. I’ve been on the club’s web page and intend to get involved assuming I make the move.

Well you should be able to find lots of rides out there with hardly any traffic. I don’t know where you will find a pool for swim training. Possibly Oberlin College?
