He is currently riding around in this ultra heavy caddy (made by General Motors) that guzzles more gas than a dozen Prius’ combined:
Wouldn’t he be more believable and authentic if this were his official ride?
He wants all of us to choose ‘green’ vehicles to “save the environment”
Should he not lead by example?
Depends - If you bullet proofed a Prius would there be enough power to even start it rolling against the increased weight? That adds a LOT of weight to the car and my bet it would crack like a wishbone.

I know for a fact that there is no way mojozenmaster would want his Commander in Chief to drive around in that pansy looking Prius, regardless of who that CinC is. You have to keep the image up.
By the time the Prius was upgraded to armored it would likely get worse mileage than the Caddy.
Top Gear episode where a BMW M3 followed a Prius around the track with the Prius going all out. The M3 had much better fuel economy due to less engine strain.

Reminds me of an old cold war joke, in which the Russians attempt some propaganda by ordering condoms from an American condom company. They request 100 gross custom-sized condoms, each 12" long and 8" around. The American company fills the order and ships them back stamped “Medium”.
