I guess conservatives have done a good enough job getting the lunatics all stirred up into thinking Obama is going to destroy this country. This guy probably blamed Obama for losing his job.

Gunman ‘lying in wait’ kills 3 Pittsburgh officers; friends say he feared Obama would ban guns - PITTSBURGH (AP) — A gunman wearing a bulletproof vest and “lying in wait” opened fire on officers responding to a domestic disturbance call Saturday, killing three of them and turning a quiet Pittsburgh street into a battlefield, police said.Police Chief Nate Harper said the motive for the shooting isn’t clear, but friends said the gunman recently had been upset about losing his job and feared the Obama administration was poised to ban guns.
The guy was a lunatic who latched onto the first reason he thought made sense enough engage in a video game shoot-em-up and gain some fame. Reports say the guy was a classic loser and a stain on human DNA. And he was a booger-eating “moran” on top of things. And how the hell did three cops let this mope get the drop on them?
Did they have any idea what they were walking into at all? I’m just speaking from having the POV of somebody who used to do that close quarters battle stuff and Combat Town and all that, so I’m probably assuming too much, but man…three more officers of the law go down and for what? This loser?
Heh…that sorta happend here. Fat woman stealing from WalMart who was serarched…twice…pulled a gun on three cops and a security guard. The pulled, they pulled. She had four shots, hit four targets…Cops shot many many times, hit her in the leg. She died from bleeding. Seems the criminals are pretty good shots!

You’d be surprised how little weapons practice many urban police forces require their officers to engage in. Some of this is due to the cost of supplying ammo for their men and women to fire. And most of them are only required to qualify once or twice a year, I think. I know the three uncles I had who were on the Detroit police force (they’re all retired now) never went to the range but once a year themselves. And they sucked as far as marksmanship went.
I think it’s like engaging in what we called “immediate action drills” in the military. If you don’t train and practice for a situation, you’re not going to just automatically do the right things when it’s time to really pull that piece and start firing. And to be honest, they’re a police force, not a military force. A lot of civilian police boards and commissions would get nervous if the cops all-of-a-sudden started acting like paramilitary or military forces. And cops are like anybody else; if they think the chances of them ever having to throw down are pretty rare, some of the lazy ones forget procedure or why they should be training, and bam! Something happens.
I’m not saying that’s what happened to these poor cops in Pittsburgh, though. Just that that seems to be what happens to many cops who die in the line of duty. Some procedure or even the whole book of SOPs gets ignored and a tragedy occurs.
Man you stay some stupid stuff. I love the arm chair quarterback bullshit. Why don’t you just be quiet for a minute and let these people mourn their loss.
Oh great, we’ve got one lunatic speculating what other lunatic’s were thinking. Maybe he was also upset that there were voices in his head that were telling him to do it along with being upset on losing his job. I thought all you libs only want to hear the facts from a newspaper and not their speculation?
Yah, I got that part. I understand what happened. I’m not saying it would have turned out differently. I’m asking Big Kahuna to spare us all his after the fact analysis and simply admit this was a great tragedy and then but quiet so these people can bury their dead as opposed to him questioning how they went about their business.
How about you read the last part of what I said? The discussion was in response to Mr. Hey’s observation. I notice you didn’t correct him for bringing up the “Obama wants to take away guns” stuff, which if you were thinking clearly was a direct interjection of an agenda onto the very real tragedy of what occurred. And I’m sorry you think I was being disrespectful, but that wasn’t the case in the least.
Maybe when you’re an equal-minded observer I’ll be able to take your observations a bit more seriously. Normally, you’re quite intelligent. Certainly more than I am, most times. Sometimes, though, (like me) you let that obvious intelligence be overriden by a lamentable emotionalism. And I know you’re from the Pittsburgh area, but that doesn’t excuse the double-standard you just engaged in.
You were disrespectful, but that is just my opinion. Don’t question how the police did their business, irrespective of your background. Good, hard working men died today, they don’t need to be second guessed.
I could care less what Obama wants to do to/for gun owners. That’s not my fight. I don’t carry a gun. I don’t see any need.
Whether you take me seriously or not doesn’t matter to me in the slightest. I’m not looking for your approval or even your acknowledgment.
no, they did not know, it was a domestic disturbance call, when perp answered the door after cops knock, he shoots both in the head, not time at for cops to react, third cop was shot trying to get to the first two wounded police officers…
GRAHAM, Wash. (AP) — A quiet mobile home park nestled among towering evergreens reeled Sunday in the aftermath of an unthinkable crime: five children slain in their own home, apparently by their father, who took his own life with a gunshot miles away. This was not a tragedy. It was a rotten murder," Pierce County Sheriff Paul Pastor said. “This appears to be the terrible work of the biological father. If that doesn’t break your heart, I don’t know what does.” The mother’s aunt, Penny Flansburg, identified the couple as Angela and James Harrison and the children as Maxine, Samantha, Heather, Jamie and James. The father worked as a diesel mechanic, and the mother works at Wal-Mart, Flansburg said.

It’s worth noting that yours made national news, (I read about it in our local fishwrap this morning) in part because it’s relatively unusual. I’m guessing the simple drunk driving deaths didn’t make your paper this morning… Of course, if they were to print all those every day, there wouldn’t be much room for anything else.
