What style do you wear? What model is best for cycling? Best for running?
I have a pair of XX and Juliets. I can use the XX for cycling and running, but the Juliets are WAY to heavy. I’ve had some problems with the XX fogging up, so I switched to using Smith Diablos a while back. Still some fogging though, the Smiths are much lighter though! I’ve heard great things about the Half-Jackets and Racing-Jackets. I go through glasses to fast though, and had to switch to Smith…buying whatever is one sale for $60 instead of $150 for Oakleys.
IMHO though, Oakley is king in the sunglasses realm

Half Jacket XLJ’s - with the larger lens, they give decent coverage/protection for the bike and they’re light enough to run in. They don’t move around at all, but they’re not so tight that they give me headaches. The interchangeable lenses are a nice feature - a bit of a pain to remove/install, but doable after a little practice.
The important thing you must remember about Oakleys:
The farther you are away from your bike, the stupider you look wearing them.

I have the Pro-M with the Sweep lens (I think that’s the name anyway). Good for riding, not bad for running. Too expensive though.
I got a bunch of cheap sunglasses a couple years ago, and I’d rather use them in races where there’s the possibility of them getting stepped on in transition or whatever.
For running: Oakley Scars.
For cycling: Oakley M-frames.
For racing: Oakley Racing Jackets.
Someday I’ll own a pair of Mars, and I someday hope to have some dartboards.

Well Im sure our boys fighting in Iraq that were all issued Oakleys will appreciate knowing how stupid they look.
XX silver with the blue lenses. Sweeeeeet. But really only look cool when worn with certain attire. Also, I think the same goes with wearing my heart rate monitor wrist receiver as a watch when I’m not exercising. Looks kinda dorky.

Like us triathletes look cool?? We ride silly looking bikes and run around half naked! Oakley has numerous styles that are for lifestyle wear! The Gas Can and Riddle Rock! The Razor Wire is also sweet!

I use the Half Jacket XLJ for running and biking. Love em. I also have the Juliets but I just use those for wearing around, way to heavy to run in. I did just get some Smith Frontlines (real good deal) and I like em. A lot like the Half Jackets, but just slightly larger, plus extra lenses.
