I posted a while back some ideas to burn off my FSA account. Does anyone have any idea if Prescription Oakley Thumps would be eligible for reimbursement from FSA? I already ordered a pair of minutes that are prescription. I’m guessing it is something that probably hasn’t been challenged.
Id certainly think if they are prescription they be reimbursable…
Most of the time we give pateints reciepts with frames , lenses etc, whatever they buy, including plano eyewear ( regular sunglasses)…I’m not sure if the people looking at the reciepts have much of any idea whats on them…they are just looking at the total price, and your account.

The folks who manage our FSA’s are pretty liberal with what they will reimburse. I think that it is one of those things that if you can reasonably justify it then you are good. When you think about it, it is your money after all. It’s not like they are giving it to you.
