The ear stems on my Half Jackets are too wide to fit under the ear covers on my Rocket, so I’m looking for an alternative. Does anyone use the Flak Jackets with a Rocket? Any issues?
(I don’t like the Radars. So, no need suggesting them.)

Same here, used the Rocket with Half Jacket in a few races last year, no problem. BTW, love the glasses, just bought a second pair with amber transition lenses. My other pair is the polarized smoke. Just a note if you’re interested in the transitions you have to buy the frame as a set, you can buy all the other lenses seperately.
Is that a typo, or did you use Half Jackets with the Rocket???

I also used the half jacket glasses when I was wearing the Rocket. They worked fine in my opinion. I didn’t know you had a rocket, I thought you were wearing the chrono? If you recently upgraded I think you will find that you like the rocket much better although you may need a ride or two to adjust.
Not sure what you mean… I used the Oakly Flak Jacket with the LG Rocket.

I was racing with the Chrono, but got a Rocket Air last Fall. I tried it with the Half Jackets, and the wide ear stems didn’t work with the ear covers on the Rocket.

Hmmm, I am almost 100% sure I used Half Jackets with it but maybe I am confused and they were flak jackets.
That would make more sense. The Half Jacket arms have sort of a little wing on them, whereas the Flak Jacket are flat. (The wings are the problem with the Half Jackets and the ear flaps on the helmet.
