“Due to unexpected heavy rain, the swim portion has been cancelled. Water quality tests have proven the heavy rain has caused the Hudson River to be unsafe. The race has been changed to a duathlon, featuring a 5k run, followed by the originally planned 40k bike, and final 10k run. To accomodate these changes, the start time for age group athletes has been moved to 6:30a.m”
