Did this broadcast suck or is it just me? I understand missing the men’s race for the last 5 miles was due to technical problems but the whole show seemed crappy to me as compared to years past. 6 million commercials didn’t help either. maybe I just like Al Trautwig.
I almost never watch live network tv anymore and commercials seem so annoying now.
It was almost unwatchable. You can’t show me the end of the men’s race but include a 15+ minute and live shot of Caroline wozniacki?
Can we just show sports like this, the Kona recap and the Olympics as they happen like football/basketball without all the human interest feel good crap?
Human interest stories bring new fans who may not care about it otherwise. It sucks for many existing hardcore fans but sponsors seem to love it.
