Does anyone know how to find the route for the Aug. 6 NYC 1/2 marathon. I haven’t seen it posted on their website.
If it’s the same as last year…
It’s a clockwise loop in Central Park starting just south of the 72nd St. Transverse. You’ll exit CP on 7th Ave. (which means you are running a CP loop plus a little since you pass the starting line). South on 7th until Times Square, then turn right on to 4x St. (it’s one of the streets in the low 40’s…could be 42nd St.) to the West Side Highway. Left on the West Side Highway and head south to the finish in Battery Park.
I’m working from memory, but that’s generally it. A loop of CP, south through Times Square, then over to and down the West Side Highway to finish in Battery Park.
Thanks, I will be there from OOT. We are staying near the Lincoln Cener, so that will be good. Do you recommend the subway to get back?
