NY Times links Spitzer to prostitution ring

All is fair in love, war and politics. This looks like it may stick unlike the McCain “story”
.

How surprising. A prominent politican involved with hookers  Bring on the lawyers, guns and money!!

It may be a coincidence, but nytimes.com suddenly is having some serious issues. I suspect a ton of hits are killing their servers.

I don’t know what the story is, but I thought Spitzer might be headed for the White House some day.

There must be some weird marital dynamics going on if you need to see a prostitute with a wife who looks like this:

I gotta agree. Why in the world would a man of obvious intelligence, grit and determination go running to hookers when he’s got a wife like this waiting for him every night is beyond me. My father, who’s no philosopher, has boiled it down succinctly: “It’s always about a woman somewhere, son” he tells me when stuff like this rears its head.

It must be that element of danger. I can’t think of any other sane (or insane) reason to jeopardize a whole career of public service.

Maybe there are certain things she won’t do…

I mean, remember Jack Ryan? Why would you want to swing when you had Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) at home? Thanks to him, we have Obama.

Ooh, he’s in trouble:

Federal prosecutors rarely charge clients in prostitution cases, which are generally seen as state crimes. But the Mann Act, passed by Congress in 1910 to address prostitution, human trafficking and what was viewed at the time as immorality in general, makes it a crime to transport someone between states for the purpose of prostitution. The four defendants charged in the case unsealed last week were all charged with that crime, along with several others.

If you’re gonna hit a hooker, go local. Don’t bring her along from out of state. Yikes.

My father, who’s no philosopher, has boiled it down succinctly: “It’s always about a woman somewhere, son” he tells me when stuff like this rears its head.

Show me a man who is married to the most attractive woman in the world and I’ll show you a man who is sick of being married to the most attractive woman in the world.

“As a rule, man’s a fool. When it’s hot, he wants it cool. When it’s cool, he wants it hot…always wanting what it’s not.”

Bernie

Show me a man who is married to the most attractive woman in the world and I’ll show you a man who is sick of being married to the most attractive woman in the world.

And that’s the clean version. To paraphrase Chris Rock, “I don’t condone his behavior, but I understand.”

“Bring on the lawyers, guns and money!!”

ZEVON! Your the man BK.

I’m not here to judge. If the tables were turned, and my wife were a member of a prostitution ring, I’d have sex with Silda Spitzer.

BTW, Gov.Spitzer knocked my company’s stock price in 1/2 when he was Attny.General and it’s never recovered, so ha ha ha ha ha ha ha to him.

This is just pathetic.

The news crawl expects him to resign today.

On the plus side, we have a Republican cheating with a woman for a change.

Why is it that the overly righteous public figures always seem to exhibit the laws of gravity.

Isn’t there another saying, that goes something like:

No matter how hot the woman, some guy is tired of putting up with her shit.

Actually he’s a Democrat - the fact he partook in female prostitutes should have tipped you off. Why are the Democratic scandals so boring?

“Mr. Spitzer seemed to have rebounded, with his Democratic party poised to perhaps gain control of the state Senate for the first time in four decades.”

He must have switched parties very quickly then, the story in the NY Times says he’s a Democrat.

This picture says it all.

Actually he’s a Democrat

Jeez!!! Vapor lock on my brain!

**the fact he partook in female prostitutes should have tipped you off. **

No kidding, that is why my first deluded thought was “gee, women, that is certainly novel.”

**Show me a man who is married to the most attractive woman in the world and I’ll show you a man who is sick of being married to the most attractive woman in the world. **

It’s the digital age, dude. I’ll let you ponder on that one for a bit. But, my premise still stands about thinking with the wrong head, and letting emotions override intellect. If it could happen to someone like him (the “sex monster” failure of will), what chance do us “normal” schmoes have? At least, that’ll be what I tell my wife if I’m ever stupid enough to engage in something like this, and then even more stupid to get caught at it.

Now we will get to see how hardball the politics is going to get.

It is a Federal investigation and could involve the Mann Act. From what I heard on CNN, they have wiretap info and the operators are already in custody.
