I have a nutrition question. I have seen people (mainly pros) use something that looks like its in a tube of toothpaste. What is that stuff? Have any of you used it? I am pretty sure its not crest or aquafresh they are eating, but hey I could be mistaken.
Its possible it is highly concentrated nutrition like Infinit or Perpetuem. Sometimes they also pack gels into a single dispenser instead of having to rip open the packets on the ride.
It’s probably gels (can you post a pic, then we could ID the specific product?)…or maybe they just want to brush away the cola and gatorade stains for a glistening white finish line photo 
Enervit’s gel has a cap that looks a lot like the one on toothpaste tubes:

I have seen people use it and they squeeze just a small amount out and eat it.
I can’t really find a picture, but I have seen Emma Snowsill use it and on the cover of the July 2007 issue of Triathlete Mag Olivier Marceau has it stuffed in his suit up on his chest. Its a red tube.
