Nutrition during a complicated taper

So I’m 9 days away from my first “A” race of the season (the philadelphia olympic) and I’m about to start my taper. Two weeks after philly is my second A race (the NYC olympic). I’m obviously going to be taking it pretty easy btwn. the two races in terms of training volume. I don’t know what to do about my diet however. Typically during my taper for the first few days I’ll load on protein and gradually work that into carbo loading for the 2 or 3 days prior the to race. Should I just do that for both events, or is there something special I should do now to start the preparation for the low training volume that I will have btwn. the events?
