Has anyone gotten numb when riding on the ISM Adamo saddle?
I’ve noticed this during a recent race - ended up riding the last half of an oly race standing up mostly in order to try and remedy, but didn’t feel OK until getting onto the run. Not sure if cool headwinds are a factor as well here.
Could be that your seat is too high. I got a V-flow to fix my numbness problems. After an hour on the trainer I would still go numb occasionally. John Cobb suggested that I try to lower the seat. I did and it pretty much fixed my problems.
You noticed it only during the race and never during training rides?
How long have you had the saddle and what was the race distance?
I’ve only had numbness during the break-in period when my derrier was adjusting to the new seat. After the initial few weeks of using the Adamo, I’ve never had any issues. My longest race is the Ironman.

that’s a tough question - by normal saddle standards the seat’s at the right height.
I could experiment with this again depending on angle (which i messed with much when i first got the saddle).

That’s right - only noticed it during the race.
The time i noticed numbness in the past on other saddles was during highest levels of exertion - so that’s when i went and got a Selle SMP for 1 bike and ISM Adamo for the other.
More training rides are on the Selle, but some are on the adamo as well, and don’t notice issues here.
I’ve had the saddle and bike (position, etc) for both bikes 4+ years - didn’t really notice it (at least to this extent) till a recent race.
Sounds like i may have to try and re-dial in the position for some reason… odd…
