pyramid marketing…not a scam, but you’re better off just buying one.
you have to buy 9 bags of coffee beans, 10 subscriptions or some other crazy combination like that…and then when you refer 5 other people who buy something as well, then like 3-5 months later you get an iPod.
one of the best lessons my dad taught me was to save my money for what i want then buy it…those things meant much more to me, regardless of value, than things i was just given or didn’t have to work for.
i have an iPod…and i love it…actually just got a Shuffle as well…so now I have two…but don’t think it’s worth the hassle (or amount of personal information you have to give out!) as opposed to just buying one.
they just lowered the prices…a month’s worth of saving might get him one…or create some sort of incentive plan for him…you’re his dad, get creative:)
