Now THAT's a bike buffet

I was impressed by the spread in this guy’s long indoor ride setup I came across in this BT thread. for IM-length indoor rides. Not what I’d have in my nutrition plan for training, but I do tend to try and use the same stuff I’ll use during racing, especially for long bike workouts.

**EDIT: Apparently this is for TWO riders doing 112 miles indoor, not one.

I’ve heard pepperoni is great IM bike training.

That has me salivating. Mayhaps a tad overkill for an IM ride - but I’d eat it.

I wanna eat it even without the IM ride!

hes only missing beer

Most of it looks tasty, but there is no way I could eat cheese and crackers. Dairy anything and exercise are incompatible for me.

I don’t think I could eat the pepperoni or salami slices either. I’d crush the candy though.

If I ever do another IM, I’m going to fuel exclusively on Costco hot dogs while training.

Good thing he has the Muscle Milk Lite. You need to watch those calories.

So is this guy planning a 24 hour ride? I very roughly estimated at least 8000 calories there… and that’s only if he doesn’t call for pizza. Nothing like burning 500 calories per hour at 140Watts and consuming 600 to replace it.

Actually, I went back and read the post (not just looking at the photos this time) and it’s a buffet for TWO, not one. Make more sense!
