if you choose to believe UAE willingly takes all of ENVE’s big pocketbook money in exchange for riding slower, unsafe wheels fine. that makes no sense to me but it’s not my place to tell you what to believe.
I NEVER said unsafe.
I say all my testing to date, on roads, not simulated environment like rolling road, shows that 5 bar is not optimal in many situations of road racing and TT.
I believe that hookless, at or under it’s maximum pressure, is safe. If you push those limits, for performance, is unsafe.
I know all teams are willing to make some compromises for their relationships with their sponsors, so they should not be used as a justification in a product review.
At least we agree that the tour has not changed our respective opinions. For me, only data will.
