Not so Silent Night

C-reg and I just climbed off the Computraner after 3:20:02 of tempo. It was huge. We were cool.

-Good way to spend Christmas Eve.

I’m jealous, stuffing my face with prime rib and cookies has nothing on a Computrainer workout.

Are you on for the “first dozen” ride?

When/when is it this year?

-SD

Nope. Probability of contact with threat personnel is immenent. Defering to area denial.

Very good, I’ll drop in after the dust settles and report.

We need to get C-Reg some wnter clothing so he can show his fitness for that event. Perhaps I should give him a call.

Happy Holidays to you, and to all slowtwitchers…

Dude, Cannondale sent me a genuine Giro leader’s jersey signed by Simoni. It is super cool.

How about a great, and real way to spend Christmas Eve…

Tom, I think you know I love and respect you. You write a bit over the girlfriend problems you have etc…I have always thought that the reason for these problems you have had are that your priorities are wrong.

Let me tell you about a GREAT Christmas Eve! I just returned from our Christmas Eve Church service. Our sancuary seats 500, or so, and we had over 900! It was fantastic. I was moved to tears. Our Moravian Church as 3 Christmas Lovefest (a simple meal of a bun and coffe during the service to celebrate our horizontal {between mortals, not laying down!} relationship) services. THIS is how to spend Christmas eve. Not to turn religous, which I certainly can; but, the spiritual connection and relationship of and with your mate is what makes a great relationship AND and great Christmas Eve.

OK, enough preaching…Happy Holidays to all!

Hi david, Thanks for your kind words and Happy Holidays to you my friend.

It just takes time to get this disappointment out of my system. Obviously, that time hasn’t passed yet, but it is closer everyday, and that feels good. It is also very good to have people show concern and kindness, even if it is on an internet forum, and I appreciate it.

Have a wonderful Christmas and my best wishes to you for a safe and happy new year.

-your friend, Tom.

That’s pink, right? Very dangerous when wearing this at the wrong locations …
Guess what colour, what sponsor, which rider’s autograph was on that jersey I got as a gift from my lbs when I bought my TREK ttt bike last year?

Frank

If you’ve ever seen the recent British zombie movie “28 Days Later” (a masterpiece) then you know what it was like running in Dearborn this evening. The streets are barren. It is exactly like the movie, only no zombies. This is probably the only day of the year when you can run down the middle of Michigan Ave. (our main street) and not see a vehicle. Very cool. A beautiful, light snow is falling here which gae the opportunity to try out my new Gore-Tex XCR running shoes and Ultimax socks. Worked awesome.

Happy Holidays to each of you and, once again, thank you for all your kind friendship and thoughtfulness.

Tom, Tom, Tom I respect your opinion on all things triathlon. And, I think you have the BEST tri store in Michigan (and yes I’ve dropped off a lot of my money there). But “28 days later” was a piece of crap movie, right down there with the “Blair Witch Project”. I wasted $8 bucks on it and I would hate to see anyone else do the same.

Pease…

Man, I thought “28 Days Later” was big fun. Heck, I think any “B” Zombie movie is big fun. And I really liked “Blair Witch Project”. Well, I didn;t really think the movie was all that good, but the packaging (all the hype, the B.S. about the budget being $5000 and all that) was awesome. It’s been a long time since Hollywood ran a hype campaign like that. It was cool.

Oh well, just my opinion. I’m pretty easy to make happy at the movies.
