Not a Newbie Anymore

Hi everyone,

This is my story, early January I got bit by the same bug that we all share…Triathlon life style. I have to admit, I have learned so much in the last 10 months!
I finished 2 Sprints and 2 Olympic Distance Triathlons…the last one, Escape To Miami, was by far the most difficult race I’ve done to date. At the same time, it was the race where I had the best preparation and it showed!!! In a couple of weeks, I’ll be running the NYC Marathon…not a bad start for a Newbie?

Now, to the reason I posted this Forum…Why is it that some people, still at this stage in life, think that they are superior than others? There is nothing better than to meet a veteran Triathlete and learn about their experiences, training ideas, nutrition, etc…each one of us were a newbie at some point in time, don’t forget where you came from…lead by example!!

Well, now that I got this off my chest…if there are any Triathletes in the South Florida area that will like to train next season with a soon to be 2nd year veteran…please let me know (arturinho71@yahoo.com)

Peace…

Arturo

probably because they were treated as an inferior as a newbie - such is the great cycle of assholes.
