Not a good way to handle biking anger

i hope this guy isn’t any of you (of course, you would have to have an internet connection in your cell).

This is a local story for me, I had a couple of friends who had their car tyres slashed and it’s at times like this I am glad handguns are illegal in this country, can you think how he would have reacted if he was armed?

If you click on the link to the right entitled “cyclist could have used law” you will see that apparently the police can fine the driver up to £2,500 ($4,000) for splashing or forcing cyclists off their bikes. I can just imagine the sneer on the policeman’s face if we reported drivers and asked for action. Hmm, looking forward to Sunday’s 200k ride in the forecast wind and rain, now with drivers as well. Think I’ll take a pen and paper to record registrations ;-(

Yes, it’s great that nobody, except for criminals, can own handguns in your country. Now you need to work on banning screwdrivers. If just one tyre is saved, it will be worth it.

I wondered how long it would take the gun lobby to go on the offensive. Have you seen the Eddie Izzard sketch about “arming monkeys” ?Now that IS funny.

Since you brought it up, and it is a Fri. afternoon…

What I really love is how the violent crime rate just plummeted after the gun ban in U.S.S.R. of England. (major sarcasm in case you didn’t catch that)

Check out the articles on the subject from the Economist, very interesting reading.

Sorry Tom, too busy dodging the bullets fired by the pimps in the crack house that are pinned down by the KGB next door to be able to respond. '-). Irony just in case you do not recognise it.

Check out the death rate in the Islam rebublic of America. (Are you sure you aren’t Timbuk?).
