North Korea, I don't get it

Can you imagine the outrage if any other president dem or rep has sounded so weak?

Kim Jong Un and North Korea tested 3 short range missiles over the last number of days. These missiles tests are not a violation of our signed Singapore agreement, nor was there discussion of short range missiles when we shook hands. There may be a United Nations violation, but Chairman Kim does not want to disappoint me with a violation of trust, there is far too much for North Korea to gain - the potential as a Country, under Kim Jong Un’s leadership, is unlimited. Also, there is far too much to lose. I may be wrong, but I believe that Chariman Kim has a great and beautiful vision for his country, and only the United States, with me as President, can make that vision come true. He will do the right thing because he is far too smart not to, and he does not want to disappoint his friend, President Trump!

Can you imagine a weaker president? He needs to go on twitter to beg some tin pot dictator to be nice.

Kim Jong Un and North Korea tested 3 short range missiles over the last number of days. These missiles tests are not a violation of our signed Singapore agreement,

Trump initially went to NK to get them to completely stop their nuclear program. It has rapidly expanded of course and sending more missiles up is not a good sign.

I don’t think Trump knows the meaning of disarmament.

I don’t think you understand. This is part of a brilliant long term plan that only ballwashers appreciate. One day you’ll look back and it will all be clear, and, frankly, you’ll feel a bit of a chump.

lol. I saw an Asian comedian’s clip today on FB about North Korea that rings true… LOL!!!

Well, just add that to the long and distinguished list (like my johnson)* of things trump doesn’t know the meaning of.

  • in honor of the top gun sequel.

Let’s just note the Obama apology tour.

Serious question for the Dems. What does your strategy look like? How do you deal with NK, Iran, and China? What is your plan?

The only thing I heard from the stage this past week was “more diplomacy”. What does that even mean? Send pallets of cash? Call leaders bad names?

Call leaders bad names?

Yes! That should be like the minimum. Kim Jong Un should at least be called bad names. He’s a vile piece of shit of the highest order. Arguably the single worst person in the world. He’s a nearly perfect example of the exact opposite of the American ideal of a good world leader. North Korea is the a nearly perfect example of the worst imaginable government. It’s literally communist. And literally fascist. This isn’t rhetorical exaggeration. It’s actually those things. You couldn’t imagine a less American vision of how the world should be.

Bad names are in order. Not a Reek impersonation with sycophantic pandering about his “beautiful vision.”

Edit: I didn’t watch the debates, but I think the Trump administration should treat North Korea about exactly the same as it treats Iran. Sanctions and harsh language. The U.S. currently seems utterly confused about what to do, and sends no clear message. Bolton talks about the “Libya Model” with North Korea. That’s the hardliner position. Giving up all nukes - and Kim Jong Un knows how that story ended. In the middle is Pence and Pompeo. Who seem to want to follow the Iran model. Let Kim Jong Un stay in power, but isolate North Korea from the rest of the world (and call them bad names). And then the President ignores his own advisers and gushes about Dear Leader. It’s confusing.

Maybe if we had used this strategy during the Cold War, we could have avoided so much trouble. Fuck all what Stalin does, send him love letters and talk about all the good he wants for his country. That will turn him around for sure.

I will say I’ve spent a year there (moving this month home). North Korea has not changed its actions one bit from bush era policies besides stopping for a few photo ops with the west. Oh and all the while military readiness has been put on the back burner because of our “new found friendship” . It’s pretth hard to to explain to 50000 Americans deployed there they need to be ready to fight the war when they see mr. trump being chummy with the very same dictator the troops were training to destroy. Food for thought

Yeah, never a Trump outrage post around here. Weirdly silent about that guy.

Camp Casey?

Haha, I don’t think we should take ourselves too seriously in here. I think he means like front page news. Things that would have been front page news under any other President are now shrugged off as Trump-being-Trump.

It’s weird that Iran hasn’t figured out that all it takes is a beautiful love letter.

I think the real leason for Iran is to get nuclear weapons. Look at how Iran is treated, they stop pursuing nuclear weapons and trump treats them as if they were. trump then begins talks with North Korea. How can Iran not think that getting nuclear weapons is a good idea, what is the advantage of not having them? What do they have to lose?

No need to imagine, we just had one. He went around kissing rings and bowing to some pretty questionable characters. That would be a great pic, Obama kissing Kim’s hand. Or a pic of the secretly hired jet landing at the NOKO airport with pallets of cash to give him so he can fund his nuclear program and finance any sort of terrorism that he wants around the world.

Or maybe trump should do like Obama and have a nation sign a deal to impose the toughest inspection requirements and shut down their nuclear weapons program, instead of trump letting Kim build more weapons and sent nice letters. But that would require someone that knows how to make deals.

Two more ballistic missile tests today. This is going well.

This wouldn’t happen if we had a president that they respected.
