Like many other bikes my Cube rolled out of the factory with s-bend extensions and while they work for me for shorter distances, riding them over 40Km or so really starts to put to much pressure on my wrists. I did my research and found that the 3T Carbon Ski-bend extensions would probably work best for me. I’ve always had Profile Design extensions so far (the s-bend extensions were PD T2+ Cobra) and I looked at the PD T3+ (I read a lot of halleluyas on these extensions here), the T4+ and even the T1+ extensions, but I feel that these extensions wouldn’t work for me (wrists to low). Also, PD charges a lot for just the extensions, if you’re able to find them in the first place (I live in Europe).
I was really surprised by the flexibility of the 3T extensions, these are not stiff at all!! Once installed, I really had my doubts on whether this was going to work for me. However, it turned out these are really comfortable because of this flexibility.
What experiences do you have when it comes to extensions being flexible or not? I hardly read anything about it on ST…
