I got a Vasa trainer on loan (not the erg), and have been scouring the web looking for any info on the possibility of recording data with my garmin watch (Forerunner 935) but so far all that comes up is ERG posts. Does anyone know if this is even possible?

The Vasa trainer does not have an ANT + head unit, only the Vasa SwimErg does, so you will not be able to record data with the Vasa trainer model.
That much I was aware of. My question was geared more towards some form of workaround in order to record some kind of data on a garmin wearable (not a head-unit) while using the trainer. I wasn’t expecting the trainer to transmit data.
